Dogs

Scilly is a wonderful and welcoming place for your furry companion, there are only 2 beaches out of the hundreds across the Islands that dogs are not allowed on in the summer months, that leaves plenty that they are! There are many miles of off road walking around the islands for you and them to enjoy. After all that exercise they also are welcome in all of the pubs, and many of the cafes as long as they are on a lead.

Each of the larger flats at Trelawney can comfortably accommodate 2 dogs, but as the Studio flat is quite compact, unless you’re very cosy with your dog we don’t really recommend it, although it is entirely your own decision! We provide a dog bed and bowls in each of the flats and dog towels to use if they’re wet or muddy. We do ask that they not be left unattended in the flats at any time, and that of course you clean up after them at all times on the Islands. Dogs can travel to the Islands with you by Boat  or Skybus. They are able to travel with you on the boat, but must be in a dog box on the Skybus.

We have a small front garden at Trelawney, we ask that you not allow your dogs to foul this area in respect of the other guests. Town Beach is 50 metres away straight out of the front door on which dogs are allowed all year round, and is much more fun for them!
